My daughter’s footprints

Hi I’ve been wanting to get another tattoo since I found out I was pregnant now that my daughter is born I decided to get her little footprints tattooed on me along with her name. Well the thing is that I want to add something of color with it and I have no clue what it should be. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Personally, I really love pink...so maybe maybe pink that is darker(but not cartoon-y) around the edge, and shaded lighter towards the middle would look nice....or even light pink around the edges and shaded even lighter toward the middle would be pretty

i think the name should be in a fancy cursive script type letter with the middle of the letter filled in pink..

I think i'm going to get a lotus flower(which I found a picture of the one I really like.) any way the flower has different shades of pink in it and I want my daughter's footprints in the middle but I want the lotus to be coming out of the water and I want my daughter's name swirling in it though I have to find out how much that would be. Hmmmm....

Wow!!! My husband and i are getting similar tatoos (ME :footprint) and (Him: handprint) . Not to sound CORNY but think of your favorite color on youself or your daughter and your fav memory and or activites ETC. But don't just jump to the first thing you know it will be there for ever. Wait until you are not experiencing a hormone imbalance you know what i mean. Please let me know what you think and what you decide and good luck and CONGRATS!!! girls are great.

I am the father of twin little daughters who are now 6. I think all of these ideas are great. There is nothing like little girls. I got my tat in honor of them as well. Congrats! You are blessed!!!

Any Suggestions or pics for a boy and a girl on the same arm?

My husband and I are looking for a way to celebrate our girls. We just had twin girls. We thought about handprints or footprints. Any suggestions? Where can we see some tattoos like this?

i have 5 beautiful children. twin girls who will soon be 13, another daughter almost 11, our son who is 7 and our baby girl who is almost 3. i decided about a year ago that i wanted to get a tattoo. my husband had this pair of shorts and the logo on it was a set of footprints. i loved them. now of course,i cannot find the shorts. when we went to a local tattoo shop the guy said i could "never" put a tattoo of all of sets of footprints across my lower back, that is a sensual spot that should never have anything connected to your kids. i told him my thinking, as the person getting the tatttoo and the mother of 5 children was since my kids walk all over my back anyway, lets make it official with footprint tattoos in different shades of pinks and purples for the 4 girls and a nice blue for my son and their names on them as well. anyone have any ideas where i could see some footprint tattoos? thanks

I was looking at tattoos that match on both my feet for my son and soon to be born daughter. I like the footprint idea but for me I was thinking more of one footprint on each foot with some designs, a butterfly, vines, basketball. On my left foot have my sons left footprint with a boyish design and on my right foot have my daughters right footprint with a girly design and their names. Tattoo Johnny has some examples pictures.

I am looking to find a tattoo artist to handle something very similar. My wife and I lost our twins in February due to their premature delivery. All I have of them is their footprints. This Father's day, I was going to have them added to a celtic cross I have on my leg. It is going to be an emotional tattoo, but I need to have them as a part of me permanently. I am looking to find a tattoo artist that can give them the honor they deserve. Any suggestions for Eastern Massachusetts?
