my ist tattoo

I finally got my ist tattoo on my lower back exactly 9 days ago but it is not finished because my tatto artist saied that my skin was rejecting the ink and I noticed he went over a couple lines twice & deeper into my skin. Well I was cleaning it at least 2 to 3 times a day and applying a&d ointment. After the 5th day it started itching really bad and burned in some areas plus i noticed around the outside of the tattoo area I had bumps that look like pimples. Well I was suppose to go back the 7th day to have it finished but I couldnt have it touched because it is infected so now I have been for the past two days cleaning it with dial antibacterial soap then pat drying it and apply a thin coating of triple antiboitic oniment & covering it with a sterile bandage. Plus I had a unfinished scripe of Cipro (antiboitics) I am taking. So far even though it is only the 2nd day I think it is looking alot better. My ? is am I doing the right thing? I was gonna go to the doctor but I have no medical coverage now. Please answer back Thanks so much.

I would go to Stained Skin and show them the tattoo tomorrow. Sounds messy, I would show one of those guys the tattoo and listen to what they say...
