My new arm piece

8 messages · last activity 8/14/2007

Just got my first session done on a 1/4 sleeve today... http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f109/ks1911shooter/Miscellaneous/DSC02365.jpg Really happy with how it turned out. The artist is Dan Marshall (formerly of Last Rites), and this is a little over 4 hours of work. It's only just a bit past the halfway mark, as I plan to fill in the section all the way around the arm. Anyhow, just thought I'd share in my happiness :)
There ya go buddy, and by the way, it looks awesome!
Indeed nice piece. Was it done with large mags?
Yeah, I can relate to your happiness. That's a cool image and a neat looking tattoo. Thanks for sharing it!
Thanks guys. As for which needles he used...I'm pretty clueless about that, so I couldn't answer anything related to that. I know he switched between a couple machines, at least one of which had the bar of needles for shading. I really can't wait till this is healed up so I can go back for my 2nd (and hopefully final) sitting.
Looks really good. Post up healed photos, Dan Marshell is one bad ass custom tattoo artist.
How much you paid for the piece if you don't mind?
ITS REALLY NICE I LOVE IT
