my tattoo pain

im 18 and i wanna get a tattoo on my foot. just a little one, something tribal. but anyway does anyone have any information about how much it hurts? i heard that tattoos on your feet hurt like hell because of the bones or whatever. but ive always wanted it there and im gonna get it there whether it hurts or not i just wanted to know

hey i just got a tattoo on my ankle last sat. night and it didnt hurt that much. it was on the inside part of my right ankle, but everyone differs on how much pain they can tolerate and with me i cant very well and that didnt hurt that much.

Depends on WHERE on the foot. Having a tattoo done "close to the bone" is really not the issue...the issue is that some areas of your skin have more nerve ganglia closer to the surface and closer together than some other areas....Top of the foot?...yeah ...a bit intense to most...back of heel?...OUCH!...bottom of foot?...AGONY!!!!...of course everyone is different in how their mind deals with pain...T

oh my gosh, it does not hurt at all im only 15 and i got my first one, it was wings with tribal behind it, it didnt hurt at all I LOVED the feeling of it!!!! and you dont even notice it just annoying, mine even went across my bone and its so addicting im going to get another one here in a few days, its great, but ive got a relly really really high pain tolerance so yeah

Oh God!...ANOTHER 15 year old tattooed person! Anyway as I said EVERYONE is different when it comes to how our mind deals with pain....what is pleasurable to one person may be excruciating to another.

I just got my first tattoo a medium size one on my outer ankle. I didn't think it was going to hurt that bad (my misconstrued idea that less fat means less pain?) but it hurt like hell. It kept going on and on and on. I didnt cry though, but I did growl alot and whine and rage. I was very proud though because I didn't move my foot once either. I guess it's not a good place to get your first tattoo..But I love mine.

honestly, from everything i've read and heard people say, it seems to me that there is no "good" place to get a tattoo if you are worried about pain. I mean, think about it, you are jabbing a needle in and out of your skin thousands, if not millions, of times. When is that ever going to be a pleasant feeling??? (Yea, some people get a kick out of it..but it's a kick out of the PAIN). So, don't not get it someone because people say it hurts....its ALL gonna hurt

I just got my first tat a few days ago, just a star nothing to big but it obviously has meaning to me, not just another girl with a tat just cause it looks "cute" but I got inside of my left ankle, right under the bone. I didn't know how much it would hurt but I dropped a few fuck bombs here and there and was ready to tell the guy to stop but it wasn't that big of a tat so I sucked it up, jolted away a few times. The ankle for me killed like a mofo but that's cause it's sensitive area. Here's a picture. If you can stand pain go for the ankle if you can't don't get it as your first tat unless you can suck it up and it hurts after a few days.
