What are you using for aftercare, and how do you know if it's infected? Can you give any symptoms?
yeah, it has happened once before...its a little red and irritated around the are, and is looks a little wet/oozy...but its only in a small area like no more than 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch...
as far as after care, I waited about 2 hours before removing the bandage, I washed away the blood with regular anitbacterial dial, I use bacitracin on the whole thing, and the rest of the area is peeling and drying and healing normally, this area is not...I got it done on saturday and finshed about 4 pm...

When you leave a studio after haing a tattoo done you are walking out with an open wound. It is so easy to just bump up against a contaminated object and contract a minor infection.Isuggest waiting a day and if the condition worsens in any way Go to a doctor and get a scrip for an oral antibiotic and within days if not hours the infection almost always clears right up.Just don't wait too long..a serious infection is just that..SERIOUS!...T
I agree with Taz. As an RN I thought, hey, maybe I can offer some suggestion instead of having questions, but Taz beat me to it. Do not let it go to long, an infection can become serious and usually an oral antibiotic will do the trick.
its starting to dry up and heal up, its is just taking a little while longer....it will probably lose some color, but all is getting better now....
