new tattoo

hey i just got my first tattoo sat. night and ive been using A&D on it. my artist said to use that for the first 3 to 4 days then switch to luberderm lotion. only thing is right now i dont have any of that and i was wondering if anyone knew of any other kinds of lotions i could use until i get some. and i know it has to not have scents, or aloe, or alc.

Any GOOD QUALITY lotion that is unscented will do.Stay away from cheapo brands as they tend to contain lanolin and other harsh chemicals that could damage your tattoo...T

I'm a little confused as it sounds like you're out of Lubiderm and want advice on what other lotion to go out and buy- if you're already out buying lotion, why not buy what your artist told you to use?

i dont have the money at the moment to go out and buy some lol thats why i was asking for any sugestions. i have other lotions around the house but wasnt sure if i should try using any of them. also does anyone know of what else to avoid in lotions that will hurt the tattoo? i know scents and a few others.

Alcohol, and anything you might be allergic to.

i have AVEENO daily moisturizing lotion thats fragrance free. would that be okay to use?
