Next Generation?

I've been trying to get a hold of Next Generation to order a machine, I understand they're busy, but how long does it usually take for them to get back to people?
why get them junk machine that you have to adjust every week when you can get a pulse machine that you will do great blending with. Get with the program, Fool!
Try getting ahold of Jeff Ensminger, he uses Next Generation and from what I saw, they run really smooth he loves them. It shows in his work that they work fine too.
Thanks 4 the info Krsytof, and screw you, you 2-bit little cum-guzler, I was asking for some info, not your piss-ant little opinion.
Oh... PS.... Befor you write in calling me, somethin' like asshole and dude and shit, look at the sceen name, that would be Bitch, slut, yadayada, and thanks.
No matter what you are still a hacker for this generation and the next generation. You milk swallower!
Why do you bother wasting everyones time w/ you lame unoriginal put downs, oh thats right you have nothing better to do or say, your the reason every one puts down this site. People come here to talk, get answers and all you can do is run your mouth, but nothing but shit come out. but the way I'm an award winning Tattoo Artist and a own my own shop...... You? I can't even ask your name your to cowardly to post it....... ha ha lol
Thanks for the props Krystof, I hope everything at the shop is going good for you. Tell gabe i said whats up. The guys at Next Generation are usally busy. If you left a message and thay haven't got back to you, Thay're probably at a convention. This is a small father and son company. The longest it took them to get back with me was like a week. As for Next Gen machines sucking, I have had no problems with them, In fact I have a couple of them that I use daily that I haven't even touched the contact screw. Pulse make good machines to, I don't think anyone could go wrong with either.
I think the way a machine is set up is the most important. And i am sure there both great machines.I would stay with next gen. just because of the costumer service.I was thinking about a pulse machine and im sure there good machines but i got a bad fealing about them after just trying to get some info about flash today.Im not saying there not a good company they make great stuff i dont like the costumer service.Sorry about my spelling for those who think this is spelling class.
Next Gen? Weak...you kids kill me with what little you know, but how fast you'll run your little cock suckers. Pulse makes a NICE ass machine, that much is true. i do agree with the thing about their service though. Like most companies that get bigger, they tend to stop with the customer service thing. I remember ordering three machines from them several years ago and Brent was acting like he'd suck me off right threw the phone because he was so happy selling THREE machines. he took the time to ask me exacting how I wanted each machine set up, etc. try that with them now!
Are you saying that the set up of a machine is not very important or are you upset with the way you were treated by a company?I dont understand why you are saying what little we no.These are just are personal feelings on these machines. And if you were in front of me i bet you would not talk like that.Whats the best way tell us i would love to learn a better way but show us some of your work with your info.Thank you for your time.
By the way, FYI, there's nobody named Brent at Pulse. And their customer service to me has always been nothing short of incredible.
Brett and Jessica and everyone at Pulse have been very supportive of TattooNOW and many of the artists we work with. Sure, they are busier now than they were back in the day... Over the years I have heard tons of great things, and very few bad. (In fact, the only bad things I heard have been here). Many reputable custom tattoo artists also use Next Generation machines. It seems to me, as a not-so casual non-tattoo artist observer, that both companies make quality machines and are run by solid reputable people and the list of artists that use their services reads like a whos who of tattooing.
I have a pulse shader and I love it- I couldn't tattoo the same without it. I bought a next generation liner a few years back, and I couldn't get the thing to run the way I wanted. Adam Kaplan (my wife's boss at the time) and Monica both bought one as well, and they all couldn't use the machine, we all sold them. But then again, Guy Aitchison swears by them, so it must all be in the way you tattoo. They weren't that friendly when I tried them for customer service. I bought a pulse liner, hated it, and they gave me my money back! There's customer service for you. I run Aaron Caine's for liners, and love them.
I liked the NG's until they started running strangely. When they warmed up they would sputter out after about 10 minutes. I called and the owner gave me a "workaround" involving the use of electrical tape over the front binding post screw. He was going to retrofit the machines at a convention, then did not show up there. So, I called and left more than one message, and have not had a returned call several weeks later. He was a VERY nice person when I ordered them and dropped over a grand, now can't get a call back. So, I fixed them myself and sold them (in shop in case something goes wrong with them). Since then I have purchased Pulse and a certain digital power supply. Great setup!! The tube vise on the shader is hard to work with (too tight) but I figure it will loosen up with use. Also, very punchy and the liner doubles well as a wash machine. I have not run into any issues where I need to try out their customer service. My time machines still run great after years of service, only have to change springs from time to time. Kandyman Joe www.pureimaginationtattoos.com
Hey Kandyman, I'm the one that wrote in asking how to get ahold of NG, and I have been using the G-force, and I love it but I also have the lifeline, (don't know if you've used it) but I've had the same problem w/ it sputtering out, like your NG. I sent it back at my expence, and when I got it back, after paying to have it re-built, and cleaned, (life-time warenty my ass), it's still doin' the same thing, any suggestions. PS to everyone else I appreciate all the info on the diffrent companies I'll order a pulse and NG and let you know what I think, didn't mean to get everybodys panties in a wad, (you know who you are)
Well, that sputtering out problem can be caused by many many things. My problem just happened to be a known issue that NG was "supposed" to be repairing. Problem was in one of the insulating washers. Most likely your culprit is a bad clip cord or foot switch, especially if Time Machine rebuilt them for you. I've noticed on some OLD Coastals, the frame's hole (for the clip cord) gets wallowed out from the movement of the cord, causing bad contact and sputter. I don't know if the TM's have that prob, but worth checking out. Get ALL of the Machine Gun magazines from eikon to help you out too! good luck! -Joe
get a hold of Eikon Device in canada, they stock them and can usually get them to you pretty quick www.eikondevice.com
First off let me say both machines pulse and next generation are awesome you can't go wrong with either. I personaly use next generation I have several. The sputtering problem that most people have can be a few things 1st your power supply there designed to run on a power supply 2.5 amps or higher. eikon or pulse power supplys will run any machine exsp. these machines much better. 2nd it could be caused by 2 much carbon build up on the spring and contact screw, this happens often with there machines and can be confused with the grounding issue at the contact post, to remove the carbon build up its simplie pass a nail fial between the 2 points and make sure all the resadue is gone before running it. Thoes are your basic problems try my advice and see what you think

Gabe hit it on the Nose.. BOTH make quality machines. I PREFER the next generation myself. Its a split coin with ALL the better machines. Its what do you like, what catches your eye, what use will it fill, how you will set it up, Balance(for you) etc etc etc. The only bad machines are .......bad machines. Disliking something does not make it bad. (except to you)
