I deposited $50 to get a tat for sat the 26th; however, this is my first tattoo and I can't seem to find the place online. All the pictures in the book seemed good, and the shop was very clean and orderly. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this shop. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks alot.

I would stay away from most of the shops on the lower west side... Most of those shops sell bongs in the front,and do tattoos in the back.. That's very good you chose east side ink..I like that shop because they have artists who don't all do the same style of work..There are some shops in the city that just focus on doing traditional,and japanese work,and everybody's work tends to look the same..

yeah i feel you, im actually really excited that I chose to get my work done by Mark. I made the appointment with him just because I liked his style, and after I made it, I was looking over his stuff some more, and actually found pictures of two sparrow tattoos that he did of almost exactly what I'm getting. (I'm getting two sparrows holding up a banner that says "love is what I got"). Now i just have to hope I don't get shit for trying to get my deposit back from the other place.

Any idea how long this tattoo should take? The two birds are going to be in full color, and the banner is going to have shading. The birds are going to be on my hip bones and the banner on my pelvis above my dick. Just hoping I only have to do 1 session......

It all depends on how quick the artist works,and on how you take the ink,and pain...Make sure you eat something before,and bring some fluids to drink too..

Hey My teacher has gotten tattooos form that place and they look great and she is very satisifed with them.....Hope that makes you feel better...and clean is always a good thing. Trust your gut feeling
