opinion on this shop and artist please

hi all, can you please give me your opinions about SoCal Tattoo. their website is www.socaltattoo.com. also, please give opinions about carlos torres' work. i am considering getting a black&grey coat of arms done by carlos and would appreciate any opinions about his work and the shop. thx.

he's decent. his shading isn't the smoothest i've ever seen but he has some good work posted. have you gotten work from alot of a-list tattooers?

He does nice work...I would get tattooed by him..Sometimes the work you see on their site is outdated,so it's alway's best to go to the shop,and look at his portfolio.

I like his tattoos. some of them are SICK. Tom Berg is awesome too. Definitely some very talented black and grey artists for sure...

There is something sparse and pure about the way he fills out an area. i like the way a whole sleeve may have only two or three areas of tight detail and intense contrast. I would like even more contrast than i have seen in his stuff if i were getting a tattoo from him though.
