Ottawa, ON Tattoo Artist

I'm looking for people who have recommendations on a good tattoo artist in Ottawa Ontario. I want someone who is experienced in tattooing black/grey/white flowers. Thanks

I would definately recommend Wayne and Julie at New Moon, they've got a couple month waitlist, but it's definately worth it (http://www.newmoontattoo.com). If you want pics of some of their work email me, I've got a couple custom pieces. The online portfolio's are ancient, you'll have to go to one of the studios to get a true idea of what they'Re capable of.

check soulful creations in orleans . very happy with the work out of there new moon is also very good a long wait for appointment though soulful is a newer shop and people do not know that the artist has been downtown for YEARS .. or he would have a longer wait as well as far as I can tell there the only 2 shops in orleans ..

Check out Pandy at Futureskin (www.futureskin.com/pandy/index.html) he does some amazing black and grey work.

Hey there, I would recommend Jason Potvin at Future Skin on Rideau Street. He is an awesome artist and a great guy. He is professional, friendly and bilingual. He has done my backpiece (in progress) and a b/w armband for me. Out of the six artists who have tattooed me, he is by far the best. Good luck with your tat! J.D.

Hey I would deffinetly have to say Derek at Soulful Creations in Orleans... He is AMAZIN at what he does. I had 4 tatts and just go tmy fiftth today..(an amazing red rose - with yellow accents in it) and it looks amazing. And he has done all 5 of my tatts... and everyone of them are amazing. He has this ability to put you at ease... and really you can see the care that he puts into his work. Good Luck ;)

check out Edith at future skin if you consider custom work and great color, she can draw anything you want and she's clean. not too much waiting either!

Don't go to Pirate City, unless you want a horrible tattoo. I swear those people don't know what the hell they are doing. They couldn't even give me a simple tattoo, then i went back to get my money back and he was cursing at me and telling me that if i wanted it fixed he would charge me ! Then he told me that the girl who did my tattoo isn't a professional! Anyways PIRATE CITY i found out is the laughing stock of all tattoo shops.

Just don't go to Pirate City unless you want to receive a hideous 20 year old tattoo that I could have done myself from an "artist" who even the manager admitts isn't a professional at what she does. They don't back up there work and are rude and abbrassive, very unproffesional.

Hey, so it's not a good idea to always judge a tattoo shop by one of their tattoo artists... Often times it's a good idea to do your own research on WHO the good artists are at a specific shop, that way you know what kind of work you are going to get done! Not all artists are good at different styles of tattoos, some are much better at black and white tattoos and others are better with color. DO YOUR RESEARCH. I've got a whole bunch of tattoos but always find the right artist for that specific tattoo... I would NEVER walk into a tattoo shop and sit down and get one done. With all this being said... I have been tattooed by sergei at Pirate city and have no complaints at all.

I like Tiffanie from Wicked Wanda's. She does wonderfull color pieces and helps me out whenever I dont know where to start looking for ideas. I have been pleased with every piece she's done one me.

I personally prefer New Moon tattoo - Julie does some good work. Richard in Barrhaven (Ventura) is good too!

SOULFUL CREATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a full custom back piece done by him in mostly black and white with little colour and its the most beautiful thing to look at. He also did all my other tattoos.

personally, i would never get a tattoo done in Ottawa. I'm sure there are tons of great shops out there but i've gone with lots of friends to some really dirty ones. If you dont mind the travel, i suggest Wizard's Den in Petawawa. I've gotten two tattoos there and they are amazing. Husband/Wife duo been in it for 25+ years. They do like all of the army guys up there and lots of celebs have gone to them too. They are very very clean, friendly and explain everything so you know what is going on.

definatly new moon,,,,good work in the past.....you can also check out the ink spot on bank street,greg has done many of me buddy's pieces and one of mine.........awesome work......robbie also.... currently working on my 3rd piece with him.....know a few of his clients beautiful work
