Three years ago, I had a small star tattooed on my right foot, no problems and I loved it. , while on vacation, I got two more stars done, and the original one re-inked. This one is looking way different than the first time. There is ink outside the lines that is not drying up and going away. There is a bruise looking thing beside one of the stars and my leg and knee are having sharp pains, although there is no redness or swelling anywhere. What could have went wrong? I am so worried....I went to a reputable shop!

Well there could be a few things. Did you go swimming after getting the tattoos? If so you could of got an infection. It also may not be completely healed yet and the bruising could just be a sign of the artist over working your skin. As for the excess ink if it is not gone within 5-7 days of getting the tattoo then he/she probably screwed up and went over the lines. How does it look now? Dry, Scabbing, Puffy etc?? And as for pain on the foot it really varies from person to person. Some people I've seen get them done say it was nothing, others say it was the worst spot they've ever had work done.
