painful scabs/blisters in my tattoo

so i got a tattoo a wk ago and i got an infection only 2-3 days after so im on antibiotics for bacterial skin infection. i went to a friend to get tattoo and they never had this happen so didnt kno wat to tell me so i went to professional and he didnt want to answer cuz he wasnt the one that did the tat, but he did say not to put anything else on it and just leave it alone but now i have open sore/blisters and my skin is tight do to being so dry needless to say im miserable. this is my first tat so someone please help!!!! and thanks in advance.

How is your tatt today and where is it

its a lil better alot of the peeling has come off in certain places but there is still some spots that now has some like thick scab and im ok when i dont have a shirt rubbing it but OMG does it itch so that has to be a good sign! and its on my right shoulder. by the way thanks for askin. :)

the best thing to use is of course tat wax or tat goo but had drs. say to use just plain Vaseline
