What kind of ink does Paul Booth use does anyone know?

oh wait i know i really really do! ummm its uhhh oh what is it?? dont tell me i know oh yeah its TATTOO ink,pigment.as far as a specific brand who knows.and why care. he does use mostly black inks also

I imagine he mixes his own ink...not sure shoot him a email he has a myspace page too...research him but i doubt he will give it up artist keep things like that to them selves but idk.

there was never no insult intended.it was meant as humor.it is not my personell issue if these people take it wrong and have no sense of humor do to inner problems with hthere psychi.i could really care less much less a fucking rats ass what there issue is. like i said the question leaves a wide range open i know paul uses black thats his style. as far as what brand or type i have no clue but there are several brands and he may mix his own ink. i care not just like i care not what joe smoe uses, i focus on me.in a short note the question was answered well by looking paul up and such.researching the matter and question.and i will not battle with half cocked witless ass nine people who have nothing better to do than bewittle and throw there anger towards others just because there day or life is shit at that point in time. i know nothing of them so my opinion stays silent. i have better matters to tend.

I'm Sorry you did give me a decent reply on the white ink. that was the first post I made on this board. I was going by all the posts I have read since then. I'm not here to fight or bicker. But you can be decent brother when you want to be so i believe everyone would like it if you and whoever else just treated everyone with respect...being nasty is just bad KARMA. anyway enjoy.

been on this forum for many years and there have been REAL ASSNINE people on here.i just spent some time looking through previous post.none i have read are of a bashing negativity. i have had my share of that shit.and yes on this forum. i do understand the question being in regards to a research. my post was to be taken wholeheartedly and with a sense of humor. the last pic i saw of paul booth tattooing he had a bottle of talenz black ink behind him. now wether he still or even was using that ink i do not know. as far as the white ink deal shoot me a e mail i have a recipie of mixture that may help apply the white for ya.its a technical issue and a legit deal. i had remembered it a couple days ago. good day

The best way to find out what an artist is using is to get tattooed by them, take a seminar they teach, or ask them directly. Asking on a forum is not a good way to get a real answer. The question should be how does he tattoo so well, the inks are a small part of what makes Pauls work stand out.

Paul has been know to use eternal white ink, don't know what black ink he uses, he does a stepdown greywash with distilled water, and he is very precise about just how many drops of ink vs drops of water he uses. He uses an 11 mag and a very washed out grey to go over and over and over and over areas until he is satisfied that the area has been built up enough. I think he uses about a 5 liner to do his highlights, but that could be wrong. He does do grey shading in his signature hollow eyes, then fills them in with white at the end (with a shader unlike the line highlights). When people copy his work and they fill in the eyes with straight white, and they look gay, and ultra neon white, thats because they didn't realize that he grey shades his eyes first. Paul is a fucking master, and even is someone had all the same inks, and needles, they are still going to fall short of his greatness over 99% of the time.

He also uses a slight touch of purple in his greys and green too to play with warm and cold tones. He builds up the blacks then move back onto the lighter tones then go down, in order to have a maximal control over the greys and have the emphasis on the lighter areas without needing any white, to make sure it stands the test of time. Then he puts up some white has a bonus, but as he says "white is an appliance not a reliance". As for the brands I didnt ask him but as it's been said it s not what makes his tattoos the way they are. Just check with the brands for the one which has the smaller carbon pigments, so it stays smooth even if you water them down.

He uses silverback white for sure... I would guess their black as well
