hey everyone.. I could be wrong but I feel as though there's more to this situation involving taz and gabe than we are being told... I firmly believe that Gabe is pulling the old jealousy card.. Taz has more respect on this site than Gabe and it's eating him up inside.. I have seen Taz WELCOME new posters to the forum...(never seen gabe welcome anyone) I have seen him offer sound advice.. I have seen him guide people through a possible infection that they recieved from an unknowned artist.. I have seen him give proper tattoo aftercare advice... I have seen him refer people to a reliable tattoo artist.. I have seen him critique work with a very open mind.. I have seen him come down really hard on trolls.. I have gotten into arguements with him and was offered respect to work out our differences.. When I was ready to give up tattooing for good he encouraged me to keep slingin.. I am this close to opening a shop of my own because of him...and I'm only 26.. And I am not alone... So seeing as this here is a "public" forum..I say we let the public decide whether he goes or not.... no doubt about it that gabe has every right to ban whoever he wants.... however, for a reason this miniscule is in my opinion out of line..your forum or not..... So here we go... ALL IN FAVOR OF TAZ STAYING= say aye ALL OPPOSSED= say nay

Look I know it is Gabes board but like many here I enjoyed Taz's post, I am not an artist nor do I have a portfolio, however Taz welcomed me in to Gabes board and offered his advice in a polite and informative way, I had a lot of respect for Taz even if I never see a portfolio. Now with that said I saw a change in Gabe when Taz announce his website was under development with another firm. I may be wrong but I really think this is all sour grapes from Gabe. Ya'll, the numbers are to stop the SPAM from posting on this site...a coding system needs to be here in order to do that...these numbers are much better than what was before this (for those of you who remember the letters and 20 tries to post).

I miss Taz also. Whats happened here is unfortunate. Miscomunication maybe. This IS however Gabes site. He has to run it as he sees fit. To all who complain and dont like it or anything else about the site why not go open your own? So easy right? I am not liking the Idea of joining yet another tattoo site but will follow Taz and split my time so to speak. Gabe has built what I think is the strongest tattoo site out here to the envy of all others. AS IT SHOULD BE. Maybe Taz can build the same. either way.....with this kind of division and hatred I am thinking this is all for the best. Now you dont have to hang where your uncomfortable nor spend your time bashing etc. All have options now. As for the numbers...I can deal with it. Its MUCH better than the spam. Many complain about the rain but few do anything about it.

yeah, Im not really going to get into this again and again. just like a professional tattoo artist doesnt mind if their clients go somewhere else I have no problems with any of our clients having their website done by anyone else. We have enough on our hand with the people who have sites with us and who want them. Indeed, I have many tattoo artist friends who even guest spot at Off the Map and dont have us do their website and I dont think any of them have ever felt any pressure to get a site from us. Someone wants the traffic, they come to us. If someone is happy with what they have, no problems. Theres no need to start a petition. Maybe this isnt a public forum as much as it is my forum where the public is invited. So far in 5 some odd years one persons been banned for spamming the board a few years ago, and one person has been asked to show us his portfolio if he is going to keep such a high profile on my site. When a someone starts chatting up all my visitors for months, taking on the roll of host or co-host, bashing visitors as he sees fit, attracting all sorts of drama, then I have the right to see the work behind the words. Its not a crazy request and Taz wasnt a part time once in a while visitor, he put himself in the position of co-host, pissed people off, and wont put up a body of work. Its pretty simple, folks, no need to get panties in a bundle. Taz can easily set up on another forum or start one of his own. There are others with more registration protection that would love to have him that he can register with right now and post a link and then everyone will be happy. those numbers keep the forum open to the general public while keeping the spammers out.

dude who cares if taz is gone..i dont...if he wnts to talk so much shit he should post his portfolio..he is always asking for others work...whats up with that. paintedangel.com has nothing on there...not one pic.......seems funny to me..let it go im so glad hes gone. he keeps people from posting here and thats a fact....
