This is great how many original and sexy ideas from u guys it is just great. I think even a moron artist can draw a playboy bunny or trace it from the actual magazine. But in my opinion there are some more great companies and magazines that have great and sexy logos-herald tribune,new york times,vogue,marie claire,husstler,mc donalds,burger king,kfc and many more..... But if u still want the tattoo of the famous bunny i think the best idea will be to get it tattood by Hugh Hefner he can also sign it for u if u have enough to pay for it or if u are a cute lil girl maybe u can learn about the bunny from the actual person. If your tattoo artist can't draw a playboy bunny for you, then there are more problems there than you could probably imagine. Of course, I'm all for wonderful ladies searing ever so cute corporate icons into their flesh forever. Personally, if you could just do branding (quite literally) that might be better. I hear it might make you thinner as well.

I Got the playboy bunny head tattoo several years ago on my left pelvic bone.... yes it did hurt a bit for my first tattoo but it was well worth it..Its turquios with a bit of purple shading and a black outline... to me unique cause everyone generally gets them tattooed black..The easiest way to get the image is if you cut it out of the magazine...i got this tattoo cause i have always liked the design and a bit of what it represents i guess. ***And in response to what was said about telling your tattooist not to go deep with the needle and it wont hurt as much....That is bull..if the tattooist did that then they are not a good one to go to..pain is pain..depending where you get it done for different people. The deeper the needle goes into the skin the more ink you can get in. Also the better quality it will be over the years...as long as you always take care of them. A very noticable difference. Daisy

I wouldn't be too concerned with people that want a Playboy bunny actually caring about quality custom art. Most of those folks want a tattoo as an added accessory to the many materialistic items on their list, not for the art. They actually want it to look like all the others, if you can figure that one out (with the exception to the possible changes in color). However, you know the serious collector would take a Playboy bunny and rock it out with a tattoo of the Playboy Lifestyle, the riches, the cash, the jewels, the hotties, the mansion, the Grotto, etc, etc!

You don't need to be a whore in order to appreciate the Playboy bunny. No, I do not agree with anyone under 18 who doesn't support the Playboy IDEA (sexual progression, naked women, certain lifestyle choices, etc) to get a Playboy tattoo. I do not support it for slutty chicks who decide guys might come onto them more often if they had it. I do not support it for those that look for an easy out and aren't looking for something creative. However, I'm almost 22 and bisexual. The majority of my house is decorated in Playboy fashion and I know a few Playboy photographers. I have almost every Playboy magazine ever created (within the US) and more memorabilia (especially vintage) than I know what to do with. I even attend the Glamourcon conventions where you get to do a meet and greet with the Playmates. For someone like me, a Playboy bunny tattoo is acceptable. AND I STILL haven't gotten it yet because I'm giving myself a few years before making such a permanent decision. My first tattoo was done too readily and now I regret it. I do agree with whoever above said to consider a pinup girl as your tattoo besides the Playboy bunny. It's chic, closer to original, and is more of a conversation piece than a damn bunny. But just like me, if you go through a long time of consideration and searching and have the lifestyle that I have, I wouldn't say to turn the idea down of getting one. Just think ahead. Consider all options FIRST. Try not to follow the trend if you can. Unfortunately, I myself cannot find a hot pinup girl/lesbian scene that I'd want on my body for the rest of my life lol. Who knows what will happen. Just don't settle for the ordinary if you can. And if in doubt at all, don't get anything on your body. Psych, I just had to reply to your post. I completely disagree with you, but I do respect your apparent level of education and thoughtful consideration. I left this board a long time ago because it just became counter-productive to discuss anything here, but every once in a while I pop back in and see something that deserves addressing. Your post is one of them. I personally believe that getting a playboy bunny is rediculous. It may be a lifestyle for some, but frankly, it doesn't do much to further the evolution of male/female relationships and interaction. It's basically just a statement of rebellion for women that want to express that they are not ashamed of their sexuality. And man, from that standpoint, it could be a great thing. Women have been made to feel ashamed of something that couldn't be more natural for a long time. So, in a way, I can almost buy in to that. Women should be able to express their sexuality in all kinds of ways that don't lead to fear of judgement or reprocussions. But the playboy bunny isn't that. Its just a symbol of excess, greed, financial gain, and the proliferation of beauty over substance. In my humble opinion, no other symbol has done more to promote misunderstanding of the female species than this rediculous little mark. And worse yet, it's a corporate symbol. The playboy empire is commercial, and financial. It's a business. Plain and simple. The image of women promoted by the Playboy empire is not positive. So what. You are pretty. So you get paid to be pretty. The prettier you are, the more money you make. Believe me, I love and respect the female form, but that's not what this is all about. If you are average, or worse, a little heavy, your chances of "earning" that coveted playboy money is absolute zilch. Is this really the image women want for themselves? Plus, it promotes an assanine misunderstanding of women as sex objects by men. i was one of those chicks who got a playboy bunny and at the time i thought i was sexy and cute and i loved it sooo much, not i HATE IT!!!! i personally think its trashy and ugly and makes me look like a whore... but then again since i started working in a tattoo shop i now realize what a good tatto design is and what a bad one is, i now have a full sock/leg piece a 5 hour sesion on my hip and a nice old school sleeve, and those are amazing... but i still have this nasty ass trashy PB bunny on my other hip.. dammit... oh well i guess thats what cover-ups are for eh? ya live ya learn right? these girls will go out and get there playboy tattoos and think they're so cool and sexy and in a few years time they'll relize that they aren't. and infact they are trash... so leave them alone for now, they're in the same class with barbwire arm bands and tramp stamps...

Well, I recently had a friend come to me and tell me she got a tattoo, and told me I just had to come back with her and get one. Being underage, I never considered getting a tattoo before the age of 18, however, my friend assured me the artist she got her tattoo from didn't care. I am a rational and logical person and would never get something that cost a lot of money without carefully thinking about the pros and cons. Since I read playboy and support the political and sexual ideals that the magazine has been portraying for over 50 years, I have decided that when I am legally an adult I want to be in a playboy pictorial. And I am not a self-deluded average looking girl that is trying to be a slut, I also want to try a career in fashion modeling to pay for college tuition. I am tall, and run successfully on a track team and am small chested. So when my friend came to me with this tatto idea, I thought, what the hell, I want to cut loose from my fucking structured honor roll student life and get a tatto on a whim. However, after reading all these posts I have decided to wait and if I get lucky and meet the right people, and I get a chance to actually be in playboy, thats when I would be able to show my support for playboy instead of getting a tattoo now, at the ripe mature age of 16. But fuck it, if I get in playboy, then I would have probable cause to get a playboy bunny tattoo. So thanks to everyone who posted telling all the girls to think about getting this particular tattoo.

don't get a playboy bunny tattoo. for real. i got a playboy bunny tattoo the day i turned 18. its hot pink, black outline, on the top of my foot. its only been 2 months after i got it and im already talking to a tattoo artist to see what can cover it up. i love playboy, and everything in my room is playboy....but just think about it long and hard before you get it. and i actually did that...but now, after seeing all the looks that people give me...i hate it. i'd rather cut off my own foot then having that bunny there. so yeah, just draw one on for a while, then see if you like it or not. hahaha

I'm a *guy* with a playboy bunny...I haven't had a steady date in months because all the girls I meet just see my bunny and are totally put off by it.
