Here's the shows description:
"Tattoo Wars pits the best tattoo artists of our time against each other in a head to head creation competition. In each episode we explore the world, legend and work of two internationally acclaimed tattooists. Then we travel to a huge tattoo expo where our stars, in three hours time, ink a tattoo on the skin of two willing clients. These creations have a common theme, such as a dragon, a calla lily, a sailor, a tribal gauntlet, or a hanya (Japanese devil mask) but are rendered in the unique style of each artist. As the show closes, thousands of show attendees vote for the creation they like the best and the winning artist takes home the Tattoo Wars trophy."
The participating artists are (so far):
Mike Rubendall vs. Bugs (1st week)
Leo Zuluetta vs. Rory Keating (2nd week)
Oct 25, 8:00 pm- Nikko Hurtado vs. Steve Morris (This week!)
Nov 01, 8:00 pm- Guy Aitchison vs. Aaron Cain
Nov 08, 8:00 pm- Deano Cook vs. Tom Renshaw
Nov 15, 8:00 pm- Seth Ciferri vs. Michelle Myles
(All times listed are East Coast time.)
Be sure to tune in this coming Thursday to see our talented friends Steve Morris and Nikko Hurtado compete. The following week will be Guy vs. Aaron Cain. The episodes that have aired so far show a lot of promise, so let's keep this series alive! After each episode airs, write to TLC and give them positive feedback- this is how shows become popular.

From Guy's newsletter.
Dear friends,
The first two episodes of Tattoo Wars have aired, but nobody is watching. Why? There have been no ads or no promotion of any kind for the show. It seems crazy, but while TLC runs dozens of ads a day for LA Ink, they have run not a single one for Tattoo Wars. This is disappointing, as Tattoo Wars has provided an opportunity for our industry to present itself as a vibrant, close-knit community delivering some amazing art- rather than the same old scripted drama that we're all getting tired of.
Please take a moment to send TLC a message and tell them you LOVE the show and want to see more TATTOO WARS .. rather then complaining about lack of promotion, it's seeming that they might resond better to praise.
Let's flood their inbox! Keep it circulating.... if you see an episode you like, let them know about it. Thats how Monster Garage became so popular. If the show does well, thew will renew the series and feature other artists in the industry. If any of you have a mySpace profile, that's a perfect place to spread the word.
The below quote is from a member of the production crew that fimed the Guy vs Aaron Cain episode, scheduled to air November 1st.
"What could make a difference is, if you put the word out to write in to the TLC website and tell them that you like the show. It sounds crazy, but a lot of times the higher ups respond to real people actually writing in and saying that they like something. I think we have a great show, I wish that TLC would promote it a bit more urgently."

Done.
and done! hmm, why did I wait for you to do it first? Human nature is wierd, but nonetheless, I sent my email in to the producers thanking them, for the good show, and asking that they plug it as much as the other tattoo shows. I suggest other folks do the same...
Done Deal too I offered free banner on Tattoo Connect.
The apprentice has become the master ;)
I did basicly the same. Thanked about the quality show and noted that if I wouldnt have known people who are like me (tattoo geeks) I would have not seen it.
ps. Answer your email´s man! :D
Mine is a done deal, been watching from the beginning, PS Gabe, it's on Thursdays. Keep up the great work guys... Peace
If Tattoo Wars is aired next season maybe TattooNOW can get the show to tape an episode at the Paradise Tattoo Gathering! What say Gabe?
hey does anyone know where i can view this show online as i missed the last two shows? thanks
Of course all the TV people are invited, but either way we will have our cameras there recording the fun so we can edit and distribute and have complete control over the video. But we're not control freaks, or anything, Id love to talk to other video projects too, though, we wont let just anyone record or tape. TV Wars, more than welcome. ha. In any event, we have some amazing footage of Joe Capobianco that will be out first with his Seminar DVD, and then online and some good bits on the TattooNOW Sessions. Holy moses, no more projects.
