I have done some reading about the polarisation of a tattoo machine, i have never thought of this before, but pepole who knows what they are talking about means that the machine runs best with the + on the rears post and the - on the frame, i cant really tell the difference either way, is it any truth to this? and how can i find out what is the + and the - on my clipcord?

i dont subscribe, and i live in norway wery small country
Best I can tell it doesn't make a difference, reads the same on the meter.I thought that with a directional capacitor it would but ...........nope.Get a multi-meter to check the polarity on your cord.
yeah as i suspected, i tryed any way possible, it really doesnt matter where the clipcord is set or what way the capicitator is, i guess those guys writing alot how important this is is just trying to seem abit important and sell their products as something special
I've been wanting to add a diode in series with the capacitor, that would eliminate any current reversal.I don't know how it would work but it sounds like a good experiment.
Sorry if i may misunderstand this but how would a diode be helping for that? the way i understood it is that a diode is a small light buld used in eks flashlights, but i might think humm i dont know the english word for this but we call it a "rele" might help for keeping the current flof right as you mentioned. A "rele" is a unit that controls the pulse of the current, but all the "rele" i have seen is way to big to be mounted on a tattoo machine.
sorry for mu bad english.
BTW. I have heard alot of your machines Hotspark, can you mail me some pictures or something?
I think the word you're looking for is relay. It sounds like that's what it is from the description you gave.
Yeah its probably that, Thanks alot
Yeah its probably that, Thanks alot
Your thinking of a LED -light emitting diode. Don't have time now,can explain later.
