Hi,
i have been reading these posts for a while and thought i would make a post of my own. i have a hallmark shaped heart with a rambo type knife going through it tattooed on my chest and, unfortuantely, the piece crosses the center line of my chest. i would like to go back and move the stencil out by 1/4 of an inch, but as we all know, that isnt possible. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to "fix" the oversight.
Thanks for reading.

Wow man, unless you go all out for a full chest piece, then the oversite may be something that you will just have to accept....
I have been asking around about it, and so far the only real suggestion i have gotten is getting more ink to distract my attention. i was also considering cover up or exploring the Rejuvi method to fix it, but thats an extreme.
Well the cover up option would be a possibility but at the same I don't think you would accomplish what you are wanting to do which sounds to me like you are wanting the piece to be more centered? If that is the case then the idea of having a competant artist to ad to your exsisting tattoo would make more sense. It's also more cost effective. Sometimes just the simplest bit here and there will make a difference.
I personally would not recommend the Rejuvi method only because it is more destructive than productive due to the fact that the end results are never consistant from person to person.
i have only read about the rejuvi method online. im in boston and im not sure anyone around here knows about it. but its hard for me to know for sure because i feel as though asking a tattoo artist about removing art would go against everything s/he stands for. especially when i have other pieces i would never remove. but thanks for advice. i feel as though there may be hope for my chest.
It's not so much about asking an artist about removing a tattoo as much as it is with you being happy with your piece. There are plenty of artists out there that have had coverups and laser removal because they weren't happy with something. But best of luck to you! Let us know how everything turns out!
