possible infection???

i got a tattoo on my leg a 2 days ago.. good size.. about 12 inches tall. anyways... the tattoo is still very red, and doesnt really hurt. it doesnt not hurt to touch when i wash it or apply a lotion to it. and there is no pus or oozing of any kind, aside from very little ink bleeding out. but when i stand up to walk, the pain is almost unbearable. it hurts to walk around or stand, like someone has beat my leg with a baseball bat. but as soon as i sit down and prop my leg up, its fine, and the redness goes away slightly. im wondering if this could be a possible infection, or if it just hurts like that from the pressure of standing and the blood circulating through my leg as i walk. let me know what you think. i have a picture if that would help to judge anything.

i've also had several tattoo's before... this one i'm talking about would be my 14th tattoo, and none of them have felt as brutal as this one feels. just thought i would throw that in there.

setting down will ease pressure standing is making all vessels and such work and gravity is at work called blood surge. yes when you stand blood starts flowing and tattoo can and usually does hurt for a cpl days. sounds norm to me should ease up in a day or 2.remember the blood has to work harder from leg and foot region to get pumped back up into the ol ticker.

thats what i was thinking. i just wanted to ask some professionals their opinions first before i freaked out and went to the ER and spent a few hundred dollars on nothing but a little paranoia. thanks a lot.
