All right I know this question is gonna sound really stupid, but on the advice of numerous indivduals including tattoo legend John Heno, I would like to get involved in the art of tattooing. I have an artistic streak a mile wide, and can free hand draw virtually anything (especially if I have something to look a) I have taken a few college level art classes including Advanced Drawing as well Life Drawing (all nude models) and feel really confident about my talents. I also have a keen eye for colors & shading. I am very good at drawing portraits, I love exploring the abstract, and can imitate a variety of your run of the mill tatoo designs off the top of my head. With that said is their any other educational skills I should gather together before I start looking for an apprenticeship? If so what are they, and what should I concentrate on?
Prerequsire education?
