Problems with tattoos

I have been tattooing now for about a year and half, and now all of a sudden I am having problems with doing solid color pieces. It seems like I have been having problems ever since I got the Intenze ink but have several tattoos with the same ink that have healed fine. What is occuring is the tattoo looks fine for the first two days; the color is bright and slowly starting to form a scab. After about a week the tattoo is scab up pretty bad and by the second week pealing starts to take place and the colors are becoming real dull (red turning to pink - yellow not holding up just for instance). I have been using the same gun adjusting it here an there; but I do admit I have had change my style in tattooing. I am just clueless to what I could be doing if anything. The really strange part about it is some tattoos are healing fine but it just seems like I am having troubles with larger solid pieces. Suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks

Hey there, please, this forum is not a place to learn how to tattoo (in fact, its frowned apon in pretty much every forum. You really should be asking the tattoo artist you are learning under. You might try the Tatttoo Artist Magazine discussion board if you subscribe to that magazine, the best industry only tattoo mag out there. That said, good luck, and we hope your tattoos will be up on TattooNOW someday. Its just the internet isnt the right place to learn these things... You have no idea who is typing and giving you advice...
