I have an all red tatoo and i want to get it redone in black. will the red make a difference, like turning it purple, or will it just be black? i wanna know what type of color itll become before i get it redone. any info would be greatfull. thanks
from what I understand you can tattoo over all colors, even black without any problems. I would imagine it depends on the size and also what the image is that you are wanting to cover. I may be wrong but that's what I've heard.
cover ups are costly as far as going over black with another color good luck the best you are going to do is lighten it somewhat as far as color being changed with black over it there will be no change the black will cover it up go to your local artist check with them and listen to what they say providing they are a reputable shop
If the tat is all red now, you can cover it with black...just make sure you go to an artist that is experienced with just black tattoos. It isn't an issue of it being hard to do, it's an issue of patience. Saturating the skin takes a little bit longer when it just black because it is easy to go to fast and after it heals you can see some areas will look grey instead of black. Once it's black they only way to go back is removal so make sure it's what you really want.
