Question about star

What does the red star in black circle represent? Does it have any meaning?

you got me there are many definitions for the circle and a few for the star could it be a music band logo or member of a assoiation hard saying if ya find out let me know would ya

my first instinct is that it is just a Punky star, as stars are a common theme in the punk style and red and black are staple colors. Upon further looking (only like 3 minutes on google) i couldn't find anything, but your question got me interested as i love the star designs used in...well anything really. Gimmie a little while to look into it
