Question about Tattoos and Tanning

I was just wondering what effect tanning would have on my tattoos. I'm most concerned with one that is VERY detailed all in black with a lot of close together small lines, it's very . Someone told me tanning would make it blurry and like blend together, is this true or will it just fade it? If it just fades it can it just be redone every so often or do I need to give up the sun? Welp, sun is your tattoos enemy. Fresh tattoos are especially suseptable to the suns destructive properties. I reckon sun helps break down the ink molecules ort some such nonsence. Theres no stopping the toll age will take on your skin, but you can certianly help slow the proccess. Your tattoo will keep best if its kept outta the sun. If you must, use sunscreen. If you dont, you will probably be going to your artist to refresh the tattoo sooner rather than later.
