Hi Gabe! Thanks for the great web! I've been lurking for a while now ^o^
I notice that most of your tattoo artists listings are from the United States, some from Europe. Do you feature Asian artists as well? Many of artists have Asian influences in their work some way or other.
On a different subject, what do you think are the chances of someone getting apprenticeship if he/she is from another country?
Thanks a lot for taking time to look at this! Appreciate it much.
Question for Gabe ^o^

Your welcome for the website, thanks for lurking, and now participating!
Indeed we are based in New England so most of our artists are American, but we have been slowly creeping into europe. Not completely, though, the first artist from the UK to join will get a TON of business right off the bat. We charge money to be part of the site (we aren't backed by anyone, starting this thing from scratch!) but I will give deals to folks from different countries to get them involved.
In short, going worldwide is definitely a goal of ours, but first we need to scrounge up the airfare to talk to folks in person generally!
As for getting an apprenticeship from far away, you will need to overcompensate the distance with a killer killer portfolio. Lets see your work!
Swift reply! =^.^=
My portfolio is not killer killer ( yet ). But soon.... *cough*
Anyway, I've hosted up a whole bunch of scans of my works, tell me what you think. Also, what else can I do to make it stronger? Do I suck? haha.... sorry... it's just my first time posting up my work online, but don't worry, you can tell me if I really suck ( I will search me soul after! )

Have more design works if you like to see. Most of my tattoo-related arts are in progress/half ass-ed finished, will post them when they're more decent.
Thanks for taking time for this!

Hey Hell Moth,
Your work looks great! I didn't look at every single picture, but I really like your style...especially the figure sketches, and I really like your use of color with the markers...really cool! I'm not a tattoo artist, but I think you're doing great!
Dana
besides vishu, you're the one of the only ones on here who can actually draw
good work
i meant out of the tattoo apprenticeships seekers
Top Notch Wo. Thats why i dont make assumptions Koochie, the only thing that happens is you make an ass out of u and mption
O.O
that was my sketch, not Wo's, hehe.... ( thanks for helping me put up, wo ^o^ )
*turn off scary music, switch to whistling happy tune*
Not just Gabe, everyone is free to comment ^o^
Don't be scared! Come!
:p
Thanks Turg, it'sDana.... I was not ever sure if my artwork is good enough to make me a tattoo artist
uh... Dutchman, I don't think Koochie is here >.>
hey hellmoth i would love to see your tattoo related stuff. nice work u have TALENT!
hey, sorry for the delay, been running around like a maniac!
Your sketches are awesome, you certainly have a talent for drawing! And after seeing the fully rendered food Id like to see more of those sketches fully rendered. Whats yer background, did you go to school, etc, etc? Are you tattooed?
It seems to me if you are willing to travel and get tattooed by talented artists you will get an opportunity to learn. Cant wait to see more, thanks for your patience!
Thanks for your kind comments!
Hey Gabe, don't worry about it ^.^ It's just noone commented at the beginning, I was sick worried.... It's terrible if your work gets no comments at all, compared to bad comments. It's getting people who understands the art's opinions that will improve me.
To answer your question, I've been to art school for three years and have been drawing since I was really young ( first full chinese dragon at age of 11 hehe..... ok, it looked like a snake with five legs ), learning to produce artworks using different mediums such as charcoal, watercolor, markers, pencil, collage... etc etc. And no, I'm not tattooed yet. I hope to do so next month, but I haven't come up with the design, and haven't located an artist that I feel confident with.... and actually, I haven't really decided. Getting a tattoo is a very big thing for me. I don't wish to rush it >.< I'm a little paranoid, really.
And yes, I'm currently working on more tattoo related artworks. I'll post it up in a while. It's really just an ongoing artwork ( Pin-up girl! *happiness!* ), but it's one of my first attempt do tattoo-ish artwork, so I will need lotsa help from people who understand the art. So come! Comments!
Thanks all for taking a look!
Oh good stuff that pinup was yours Hell Moth. really nice work on that its really comic book like. i like that kind of style. yea kooch is here just much more well mannered.
oh i love it too. while explaining why assumptions are bad i made and assumption that was completely wrong on who drew the drawing. the irony is almost tangible
