Red Ink

I'll be getting my first tat soon, in the next couple months. It's my family coat of arms but i've redrawn it to look a little more realistic and added a banner, it i could get a use of a scanner i'd but it up. anyway, i want the phoenix (fenix, sp? seen it both ways) mostly red and orange. Is there a certain brand of ink that has been known to not cause a red ink reaction? or should i just ask the artist what he uses? Thanks

Leave that to your artist...if you do have concerns ie a history of allergies...have your artist do a test patch...a small patch of red in an inconspicuous area and wait a couple of weeks just to be sure...but a warning some people do not develop red syndrome for months!...T
