So, I have a tattoo that's a little over a week old and the peeling has started. It all looks pretty good except the red ink seems to be fading. Is this a normal problem? Additionally, I know I shouldn't use sun screen, but what's the deal with exercising? I run alot , but don't want the sweat hurting the tattoo. Any thoughts. Oh yea, if the red keeps fading, is it possible to redo the ink and brighten it up?
Thanks

yes you can get teh red touched up...no sweat won't hurt it...keep it out of the sun for at least 3 weeks....address these questions to your artist!...T
thanks,
Should I let the artist know now or wait unitl it heals more. i imagine it can't be touched up prior to healing completely.
Give it a few weeks...a tattoo can look really dull and even faded during the healing process, but when the "milk skin"...that layer of kinda shiny skin...wears off sometimes the tattoo comes back to life...at this point let it heal and then ,if it needs a touch up go talk to your artist!...TAz
