reinking

I just got the kanji symbol for love on my wrist in solid black but, its light in some place and make the tattoo as a hole look uneven. It has only been 2 week and I have been putting a&d ointment and body lotion when ever it starts to look dry or itch. So my qustion is will it fill in on its own or get it reinked, it's my 1st one so I'm not to sure on what to be looking for after you had it for a while and also giving that fact that I was not to happy with were I got this one done at dose any one know a good places in Hayward,Ca? Wait a month if it isn't solid black go back to where you got it and they should give you a free touch up, i always do at my shop. Point out anything you don't like about the tattoo but also make sure you point out what you do like cause you want to make them feel good in some way.

If your tattoo is solid black and I presume it is...Solid black is very difficult to get perfect the first go and it takes a good artist to do so...most (I said MOST dammit!) solid black tattoos need at least one touch up and you artist should have explained that to you at the outset BEFORE he took your money.Most (again I said MOST !) shops want their work to look as good as possible and will have no prob polishing it up for ya...If they do have a problem with touching up THEIR OWN WORK (Without a good damn reason ...say you jumped in a chlorinated pool the day after you got it or if it is evident that you did not take care of it) Then find an artist who stands by their work.....Taz
