Renowned Tattoo Artist in Colour

26 messages · last activity 4/10/2011

Hey Guys, I'm basically in search for a world renowned tattoo artist who has experience in the industry, I am from Toronto, Ontario but I am willing to travel the distance to get some solid colour work done. I'd be doing my sleeves and a back piece. So far in mind I have Brandon Bond (www.brandonbond.com) from All or Nothing as well as Zulu from Zulu Electric in CA. If anyone has some suggestions and information it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
There are a lot of good color artists... what style of tattoo? Have you checked out the guys at Transcend tattoo or Hope Gallery? Steve Moore is a canadian and truely amazing. The guys at New Skool Tattoo in San Jose or Marcus Pacheco in San Francisco... what type of tattoo?
Tim Creed is from Texas and amazing and recently put tattoos on the site...
Boris! from Hungry. Truely amazing, I'll fly over to get s piece by him someday. www.boristattoo.com
Tony Ciavarro from Stinky Monkey and Tim and James Kern....
Tony Ciavarro, all of the crew at Hope Galleries, Scott Winskye, Craig Driscol, Guy Aitchison... Take your pick!
Its basically made of old school and new school art.

Off the top of my head I would say some of my favorite color artists are... All the guys at Hope Gallery and Transcend... Steve Moore is fantastic, Brandon Bond puts out some quality work as does Joshua Carlton. oopse, that Hope Galery link works here. sorry bout that!
you know theres lots of tattoo artist in the world ,if you want good work you probably dont have to fly across the world .if you took the time to look locally you would probably find a good local artist who you can form a relationship with and not have to fly 1000 miles to get tattoo work every other week .name droppings fun but lets give the rest of the tattoo world a chance eric merrill aint the only good artist in the world.support local artist contribute to the tattoo "world"
What? Do you realize how many other artists were mentioned other than Eric (who was mentioned by name once)? There are some great color artists in Toronto, and there a big convention there every year where even more great artists from around the world show up... If someone wants to find out who people think is the best at new school meets old school color tattoos and are willing to travel what do you care? In any event, instead of complaining why dontcha mention all the great color artists you know in toronto so our friend doesnt have to travel so far... My advice would be to get work from them, and to travel to the other amazing artists mentioned too.
Hey Guys, I really appreciate all the help. You guys have been great. I reallly dig Tony Ciavarro and Brandon Bond and definitely goign to consider one of them. I love travelling so I dont mind spending a week in another country to do up my sleeves. Rob Coutts from Toronto is sweet but I already had a bad experience with him.

If you go to Brandon Bond, He will fly you out to ATL and take the cost off the bill of your tattoo. Plus you get to get tattooed at ANTI ART Elite, which is a super dope studio.
one of the best tattoo artist in the world is chris trivino in austin tx. perfection tattoos. 1yr waiting list bro
www.fabriziodivari.com Honestly i've looked at all the work you guys have posted and have been unimpressed with almost all of it. Brandon Bond and Tony Civarro are the only two really talented artists stated Fabrizio is in toronto and is phenomenal, hurry up and get him though as he won't be here long.
You were unimpressed with the guys from Hope Gallery, Transcend, Redletter, and New Skool/Analog? Really? No talent there? Don't talk out of your ass dude. Most if not all of the artists mentioned are in the upper tier of tattoo greatness. Recognize.
Tom Strom, Cory Kruger, Josh Carlton, Russ Abott!!??? Yea your right, no talent there... did you even look at the people mentioned!!??
Rob Coutts is an EPIC artist and a great guy. I'm saying this after spending about 45 hours with the guy.
