Rib Tattoo

hey everyone im going in for my first tattoo on wednesday. im getting it on my ribs its my first tattoo and i dont know what to expect.... im getting a marlin (fish) starting from the hip bone to the top of my nipple. could someone please reply on how the pain rate is gonna be?

I've had three hours on my ribs and the last hour totally sucked. I'm talking teething grinding, wincing pain. But you never know, some people do just fine with rib tattoos.

All tattoos at one point will make you break. Your pain tolerance decreases by the second. Just eat good, go sober, and bring a gallon of water. I think 3-4 hrs is a fair session for both artist and client.
