Hi, i got a small bird on my wrist a week ago, the healing process went fine until the scab fell off and the thin film was exposed. for some reason, i woke up one morning and part of the tattoo's film was off, maybe rubbing against the sheets. now, part of my tattoo is raised and a little red while the rest of it is fine and perfect. what can i do to salvage the situation as this is the first time this has happened to any of my tattoos?
thanks for all your help.
RUINED TATTOO?

Apply a thin layer of Lubriderm unscented 3 to 5 times a day or as needed (when tattoo looks or feels extremely dry). Do not pick at the tattoo even if skin or scabs are hanging off...let them fall off by themselves. If you live close by your artist pass by and show it to him/her. Let them give you some feedback.
3 to 5 times a day seems a little excesive (IMO).Id stick to twice a day tops.
I usually do it sparingly. I meant 3-5 including times when the tat might look extremely dry. Also, when I say thin, I mean really thin layers of application (maybe that's why i said 3-5 cause i don't use much lotion). Less is better than more. Even if the tatt looks a little dry it's better not to soak it. You don't want the skin to be completely covered in cream all the time. Just enough for it to get a bit of moisture so it's not completely dry. Think of it as giving your skin a little drink. Your not gonna drink a whole gallon of water when you're a little thirsty a couple of sips will usually do.
Your only choice is to amputate...
:D
I'm sure it will be fine, and chances are if there's some fall out in the color the artist might be willing to touch it up for free. A lot do if it's within a short period from when it was actually done.
