Scabies on tattoo

Hi, I have recently got a dose of scabies and it has now spread onto a 6-month old tattoo. My doctor has told me to coat my body with Benzyl Benzoate. I'm concerned that as it is technically "toxic" that it may effect the tattoo. Has anyone experienced this before? Should I be worried? Thanks in advance

getting rid of the scabies should be your priority. tattoos can be fixed. geeez.
