try talking to the guys at etattoo ....professionalism and customer support is our number one objective..a true artist has it in his heart to draw and be good but you must also be able to get into a persons head and design a tattoo for them .. you have to deal with people in .. these are other things you must learn..... www.etattoo.org

Hi Twisted Image Tattoos of Cambridge, MN is looking for a apprentice. You don't have to pay us.!!! Ya just have to have the right appeal yaknow'. Duties include rigorous shop cleaning on a constant basis! Talking to customers is a must!! Talking ppl into tattoos making appointments, answering phones. And alot more.... In return you get to work your way up to piercer an or tattoo artist. However you probably wont be doing either for at least a year. So you wont be making the $$$ right way, in fact you wont make any money at all. (depending on how motavated you are) but it's a foot in the door and some good experience right away. So this is your chance to prove yourself and see if you have what it take to be a professional. This is how most of us got to where we are today. Hope to see you soon! Thanks, Danya RL-{Head tattoo artist meaning I don't clean shit!} 763-691-1300
haha danya.. nice and honest!..
I'm looking to obtain a job as a tattoo apprentice.I'm twenty and I've been with D3 Artworks Studios here in Cambridge, I've perfected many skills in my techniques and method of application as well as I have dabbled in organizing and creating a sales pitch to higher company and have wanted to be a Tattoo Artist since high school. My previous Mentor Rick has found two places looking for an apprentice but I have yet to get a hold of him for details...this is something I dream of and really want to be a part of as a way to express myself through my art. If possible I'm willing to except any help I could get... thanks a bunch to whom this may concern. xoxo
My name is Hanna, I am looking for an apprenticeship as well. I'm twenty years old, I've loved tattoos since I can remember. I've been offered to be taught by two different artists, but I won't be able to learn under them for geographical reasons. I currently work as a caregiver for HIV/AIDS patients. I used to go to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, but left because I didn't like how restrictive they were, among other things. I'm looking for an artist who will nurture my creativity and teach me the technical things as well. I know there are a lot of people looking for apprenticeships now and its especially hard in the Twin Cities, but I know I will make a great tattoo artist.

I'm a 19 year old new media major at Academy of Art in the city and I'm looking to find a tattoo apprenticeship somewhere in the area. I've been drawing my whole life; my primary obsession is with drawing facial expressions and street art. I'm interested in working with other styles of art, and am used to working with customers on custom shirts and paintings. call 650-678-3279
hello, I am a seventeen year old, who is interested in Tattoo apprenticeship. I am eager to learn and want to learn the ropes of tattooing. I have a portfolio, and am willing to work. I am a highschool dropout, but before I did that, I majored in the arts. I am located in Westerly, Rhode Island, and I'm just posting this to hopefully get some responses... Thank you for your time, Samantha Deeter
Like so many others in this thread I too am hoping someone might take notice of my request and help me learn to tattoo. I graduated this past year (2009) from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, with a degree in illustration. And while I very much love seeing my art on paper, I desperately want to get into the tattooing world. I love the art, I love the shops, I love the people. If anyone in the twin cities area is looking for an apprentice, I'm your girl. I'm creative, a quick learner, and a hard worker who won't let you down. Right now, my website is pretty geared toward getting illustration work- mostly children's books and the like, but I hope that you if you look you can see the kind of images I love to make in more of the comic and editorial section- detailed, realistic, colorful or toned down, and hey... I know how to draw. Katiekroeck.com if you want to check that out... I hope i hear back from someone! Kate
I own a shop in east central Indiana. I don't charge for apprenticeship however I do ask that you do some basic shop duties and pay for your own supplies during your time with me. If anyone out there wants more info, you can email me at [email removed]. If you can, include some samples of your art work and give me a little bit of info about you and your background.
