Self Tattoo Removal

I know it's not advised, and certainly not considered smart to attempt to remove a tattoo on your own, however, I'm still asking the question. I have a very small tattoo of my ex-husband's name on my wedding ring finger (loooong story) and I want it off as soon as possible. The closest place I could go to for laser tattoo removal is an hour drive away, and so going for 5-6 sessions, and paying almost a hundred dollars per session isn't even close to ideal for me. Since the tattoo is small, and scarring in that particular place wouldn't really be very noticeable in the future, and considering I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, I'm wondering what the best method to remove the tattoo on my own would be? Could I simply use a buffing block and slowly scrape it off? Any help would be appreciated!
you know the answer. Laser. There is no other method that we would recommend for your problem. Your lucky you actually have a solution.
You can do the salt abrasion method. What you do is rub table salt into the tattoo until its gone. Very painful procedure. Good luck
