okay, so i just posted about a tattoo cover up. i mean, i know its a possibility, but i dont know to what extent tattoos can be covered. so now i have two questions...
what are some of the most drastic cover ups that youve seen?
and also,
what are some really great japanese style tattoo sleves (or in my case sleeves-for-legs) that youve seen?
pictures please? you people are fabulous.
SHADING?

If you are willing to invest your time and money into good laser person and talented tattoo artist, anything can be fixed. dont want the laser? you need to invest more in talented artist.
heres the thing, the tattoo is about the size of an ipod, so its not that drastic, and it is a woman with dark hair. her hair is only shaded dark, but some parts are almost all black. she is wearing a scarf with purple and red shading. i dont want to get anything drastic done, like a laser, but i want it to fit my personality. i was spontaneous to get it in the first place. i like the tattoo, its well done, but it doesnt fit me. i want a sleeve on my upper leg, but a gypsy woman doesnt fit a theme. i want something japanese like flowers or something beautiful. i know i might get a lot of "take time to think about a tattoo" responses, but i have it now, and i want it to be something that i love, not something im not too sure about. any suggestions?

I got a coverup there from Joe Johns, on a piece I was going to have lasered and he said he could fix it w/out laser!! And he did...amazing work!! I was to the point of gnawing my arm with the offending tat off till I saw the end result!! Well worth the drive and WORTH EVERY CENT!!
Ok I noticed this post as I was getting ready to ask a question about shading.
I have a black and gray fore arm piece I had done about two years ago. My question is I want so color high lights done on the Dragon, a light green or maybe a dark lime color. The artist who did it is no longer in the area. I’m a victim of watching Miami Ink and it sounds like some artists don’t like touching up another artists work.
All I want is just a very faint highlight to make the Dragon stand out. I haven’t approached any one yet, you guys sound like a good sounding board. What do you think.
