Shoudl I worry about the pimples & boils?

I got my tattoo about 3 weeks ago. Now I have strange looking pimples or boils (can't quite tell the difference) not only next to the tattoo but on other parts of my body! If this is an infection, what do I do about it? I have never had a pimple on my back in my whole life so obviously it is related to the tattoo. Even if it is an alergic reaction to the ink, my actual concern is will the pimples eventually go away? They look pretty gross. I have been using pimple medicine, hydrogine perioxide (to keep it cleaned out) and boil oitment. I will go see the tattoo artist if I can't find the answer from this forum. Any suggestions would really be appreciated!

NO! Are you crazy? You shouldn't be putting anything on your tattoo that your artist didn't instruct you to for regular aftercare, unless your doctor tells you to do so. Especially not chemicals like hydrogen peroxide and medicines and ointments that do things other than simply moisturize. You should have gone to your tattoo artist FIRST, then if he didn't know, to a doctor, BEFORE asking random people on a website. If its faded, don't be suprised if he doesn't touch it up for free. I wouldn't.
