Sister Tattoo Ideas

My sister and I have a great relationship. We've been through a lot together and we've always been a greeat support system. I asked her if she'd like to get a sister tattoo with me and she agreed. We narrowed the options down to a latin phrase tattoo (no animals, no pictures) because we both think they're classy, meaningful, intelligent, and, most importantly, cool. I was thinking something like 'Amor est vitae essentia' (Love is the essence of life), but I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas or any sites to look up not-cheezy latin phrases. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Google "latin phrases" or "latin quotes." There are a multitude of sites that are generated. Hope that helps some....unless you have already tried that route?

there's nothing classy about tattoos. Cool and fun and pretty yes, but not classy. Think about taking the actual design a little less seriously and have some fun with it; the fact that you got tattooed together and have the same thing is already an eternal bond and more powerful than some cheesy phrase. just an idea.

Quite the contrary, tattoos can be VERY classy. It just depends on the artist doing them/the subject matter.. Very well done tattoos look like paintings, or photographs on your skin.. it can be very very classy..

I kind of agree though. Yes tattoos can be classy, but just try to have fun with it. My sister and I are getting tattoos together when she comes home for Christmas and we are doing just that. Thinking of something so stupid that when people see it they are just "What the hell?" because already once we look at those tattoos we will be reminded of eachother. Even if it is a squiggly line. We got those squiggly lines TOGETHER.

cool shouldnt be the "most important" some meaningful should be the "most importantly" part of your comment. get something original. everyones getting latin phrases.

my sister and i are very badly wanting to get a tattoo together also..we are thinkin of gettin like very cute letters that would say lil sis and big sis. lil sis would be on me and big sis on her. i think this would be very cute. just find exactly what kind of cute letters u wold like to go with and and if u wanted something else added with it such as a design of some sort...not sure if that helps any but thought i would run it by u....

I am also looking for sister tattoo ideas. I found one that says "follow me, I'll follow you" I thought it was very cute.

Me and my little sister are also doing the whole 'sister tattoo' thing. It was her idea, and we've been through crap together and come through it even stronger and have decided to do this but in our own invidual way. We've decided on have each others initials with a little heart next to them, small, classy, and meaningful to us, most people won't understand it but that's also kind of the point :)
