PIGMENT---- Yes Some are cut with more water then others Yes some have more pigment then others. I Personally use many brands Skin Candy, Kuro Sumi, Intenz, Sun and Huck Spauldings Voodoo brand and there Sta-Glo, Permi Pro, and waverly hell i even tryed out Scream but out of them all, Skin Candy has Be Came a Name i can trust there CEO and Color Developer, August will call you personally if you got problems with it replace bottles the whole 9 i can't say the same thing about the others. but the point im getting to i've seen alot of these boards about problems with this pigment or that ad there's some guy that on every on has to pronouce his love for Permi Pro. Has any one blamed them selves for there problems with the pigment NOPE NO NADDA, POINT TO BE MADE CHECK YOU NEDDLES TATTOOERS YOUR NEDDLES ARE JUST AS, IF NOT MORE IMPORTANT THEN YOUR PIGMENT, GET A EYE LOPE OR EVEN A MICRO Scope check for dull or warn needles yes even in single use from the supplyer needles, if damaged send them back your reputation should not rely on your equipment, set up your machine right stop bull shitting your self and blaming every thing on equipment STOP BEING A LAZY ASS AND CHECK YOUR SHIT RIGHT. If You Don't know what im talking about go learn from someone how to do it, AS FOR PEOPLE THAT BLAM THE BRANDS STOP, iNTENZ, Sun,permi pro, waverly, Huck Spaulding, Scream, Immortal, Star Brite and SKIN CANDY are doing hell of a Job Trying to Raise the Bar Everyday more so Skin Candy, Starbrite, and Intenz Then Most. nice try. skin candy sucks. inks to buy starbrite, eternal, unique, dermaglo, mickey sharpz, intenze. please notice, skin candy (aka, shitwater) is not on the preceeding list. another note: noz speaks the truth, even when it hurts. one more note, moms is also not on the list.

Ive never heard anything good about skin candy tattoo inks. None of the many tattooers that come through off the map have used it, none. *shrug*

Here's the deal I HAVE HAD Shit Water "AKA BAD TATTOO INK" From MOM's, SKIN CANDY, INTENZE, Waverly ect. ect. Sorry for leaving out them all but Tattooing almost 10 years you forget all the brands that have come and gone. Noz I respect your Thoughts But I have sent back Skin Candy When it was Shit Water and i got a bottle back No Problems from them there customer service is spot on when you have an issue with there ink, they actually give a shit. The Way ink is made in large quanitys some times a bad bottle slips through the cracks, and the main point i was trying to make is nobody blames there needles or them selfs for being lack luster. Back in the day you had to make your own Pigment Thank God for companys like skin cany, intenz, starbright, moms,peri pro, mickey sharpz "he does make a bomb ass red" Honestly just give the new Tokyo Orange, Tokyo Pink and Tokyo Red a try and it might change your Opinon I know any one with a visa can get this stuff but i have found the more exclusive it is the more hype then Profit when i can rendure the same results with Most. Thats My Opinon Take it or Leave It.

Thanks for the imput fellas, I'm workin everyday to try and find better and better pigments, i personally have gone through and reformulated almost every color we have, last count around 100 colors, doin random bottle tests like grabbing a bottle from the center of a 300 bottle bin and testing it's pigment strength, color draw downs, you name it, and most recently bumped up the pigment loads over 30% from the original. Its costing me more, but i dont care, im getting way less complaints, I even made a big batch of Florida Orange from powder for those who know about it. But yeah, every company has it's issues with consistancies, it's really hard when making big batches, it doesen't always come out perfect, but our new equipment is equipped with with fiber optics and gravitational weight dispensing, so it's much better and more consistant than before. thanks for the support Aug

Talk about "trial and error". Don't put a product out until you feel it's better than the rest. August, what you admit about your product...as well as your previous ramblings about other artists and their inks is enough to put you out of business. I bought a bunch of your stuff but I refuse to use in now because of your attitude and your reputation of selling poor quality products. Get your shit together. You look like an idiot. skin candy fucking sucks!!!!!! horrible, i had greens turn brown, or disappear, i would never bother with the reds, and most of the colors would take forever to get in the skin. they suck, skin candy is shit water. when i told the company what had happen, all they could say was...'well people like this guy, and this fag, and this asshole have no problem with this ink'. so instead of a solution, he just gave me bullshit. ps. hey august, stay off this forum and all your fuckin little minions, quit making ink and stick to making faggy buttrock with your buddies in your father in laws garage.

i got to say ive never used SkinCandy myself but from everyone i know personally and the guys in my shop that have used it that it sucks you wont find it in our shop its got a bad rep for being a shitty ink that any scratcher can buy

Skin candy is not the only ink a scratcher can buy ya know? Intenze, starbright, kuro sumi, moms, eternal, and that only names a few.

Skin Candy isn't the only ink a scratcher can buy but it's one of the easiest to buy. I'd bet money a scratcher would have a hard ass time getting a full set of eternal inks, but skin candy is available in a zillion places online....

Really, ahard time getting eternal ink, go to joker tattoo supplies, and you can get it there. thaey sell to anyone. I also know of a few more web sites that sell it.

I dont think its a scratcher ive actually never used it myself but i dont know if you guys know mike devries the guy with the dvd coming out thats advertised in the background of this site he seems at least in my opinion to do some pretty good work and he uses skin candy so it cant be all bad really it just comes down to preference some people might love it and other might think the ink you guys are using are shit water too what works for you doesnt mean thats whats going to work for the next guy

eikon sells to everybody, too. just e-mail them a pic of any shop, tell em it's yours, and you're in.

I tried the Tokyo colors and they would not go in the skin, and completely dissapeared before it even finished healing. The red turned very pale pink within a week. (So did the pink.) I will definitely never, ever trust Skin Candy. Total crap. Maybe all 3 colors were bad batches??? I don't see how. I have not tried any other Skin Candy colors, but now i never will.

There are 36 1oz bottles in my dumpster if anyone wants them. I think they are where they belong though!

haha yep experienced the colors changing in the skin from brown to green and some other things to . Its the worst ink ive used. Eternal, starbright, and itense is all i use. Intense has some really good colors but they also have some bad ones just have to know what ones to use. There blues and earth tones are generally good everything else i use eternal,

I need to know something from everybody that has had bad experiences with Skin Candy. Where and when did you buy the bad quality inks that you bought? Because i see some people say that they hate it, some say the love it, some say that they had a bad batch that skin candy replaced (now they love it), some say that they used to suck now theyre the shit. So when you say how much you hate these inks can you please add some background as to where and when you got the ink. I think Skin Candy is the sickest brand name out there, it would suck if the ink is inferior, but forum to forum it seems that Starbrite, Perma Pro and Intenz kill it as the favourites. Perhaps the longer a brand is in the game the higher the quality of the ink due to the manufacturer being able to purchase/build more expensive and thorough mixing machines as they become more successful. I have been using skin candy for 6 months now everything stays bright and clean looking. I am confused by all the above statements?? Should i go with something else? It is hard as a new artist to know whats best. lol. Theres tooooo much to choose from. :-/ I am gonna look at more blogs i think. That will confuse me more i imagine. :-) x

ive personaly used skin candy on my clients.and i was very impressed by the colors and i will always suggest them to any artist who asks.

man all you people sound like scratchers i never had problems with starbrite skin candy or intenze they all worked great for me people always come back cause my colors come out brite is not the ink is that you suck quit dont make us pros look bad like that talking all that smack when you cant tat
