I'm heading back to school to get my tattoo cuz I just don't have enough time at home. I've heard very good things about some of the artists in Blacksburg, VA and Roanoke. There was Johnny T's, Bulldog Tattoo, Rendezvous Tattoo and Ancient Art in Blacksburg and a different Ancient Art in Roanoke. I am getting my tattoo on my right shoulder blade and I'm not very big so I only have about a 4" square to work with. I'm looking for someone who can do detail in small areas. Thanx for your help.

hi, found this randomly while trying to find something else, but anyways just thought id let you in on what i know about the places in blacksburg. I myself got my tattoo at Rendezvous, and absoluately love it. The guy who did it was really nice, and is a ceritfied nurse so I trusted him, anyways, im not exactly sure how good he is with detail as my tattoo is rather large, but he did a teriific job with the blending of colors, so I would assume detail work is pretty good too. I havent heard much about ancient art, and I know someone who was really happy with one he got at some place down by kroger on main street (but I cant remember the name of the place). The only other insight I have is that i've heard really good things about Bulldog tattoo- which is off main street by souvlaki and TOTS, but also when i got mine priced there it was a bit higher than the other places i looked at (one of the main reasons I went to rendezvous) well anyways, hope i have been helpful in some way, and good luck with your search and getting your tattoo!
johnny t's i believe is the best choice you could make they by far have the best service. Ancient art is pricey but they do great work
