Starbrite vs Iron Butterfly pigments

OK the subject in a prior post was whether Starbrite and Iron butterfly pigments were the same damn thing...Chino at diversified tattoo supply swears that they are the same and he gets Starbrite in bulk and rebottles as Iron Butterfly...I just recieved the following e-mail from Tommy at Starbrite.... Hi Taz This is Tom from Tommy's Supplies.Starbrite and Iron Butterfly are not the same pigment. We produce starbrite ink and distribute iron butterfly.it shouldn't be a problem to mix these colors but they are indeed different pigments.if you have any other questions you can contact me @ 860-265-2199 or on my cell @ 860-305-7435. hoped i could be of help tom jr e... Ok well that settles that I think...I do not in any way think Chino at Diversified was trying to fib to me...for what reason?....Idunno...TAz

There is no way Starbrite and Iron Butterfly are the same, I've used both and the consistancy of the pigment is totally different, and they smell different in the bottle.

And I agree but I was told by someone I trusted and since I had never used Iron Bitterfly.......
