Staten Island, NY. Studio reviews?

I just wanted to know if there's a website where people post their positive/negative experiences on where they received their tattoo. I'm in Staten Island, NY and I got my first tattoo 7 years ago from a local place, Ron & Dave's. I'm interested in getting another tattoo from the same place as I've felt they have done a good job and just want to make sure they're still consistent. More than likely though I'll be stopping by later in the week. Also, does anyone have any reccomendations in the area?

You can search the archives for past recommendations. Lots of good tattoo artists in the city and surrounding area. The NYC convetnion brings in a lot of talent too... What type of tattoo arre you looking to get?

I'm interested in having my shoulder and bicep done. Two words in baybayin script done vertically and surrounding that would be two dragons either tribal (1 black, 1white) or 1 representing fire and the other water. Obviously, a yin yang theme.

Ron,and Dave's does quality work..I seen some nice work that the son Dave did,and his brother Chris works there.It's a family run business..The father Ron,works in Elizabeth,at 607 Westfield Ave.[908]289-7876 with Kevin Craig,who does really solid work.I checked out a nice shop in Brooklyn a few day's ago that just opened.www.purebodyarts.com The owner,is a well known piercer,and does scarification,and they have 3 good tattooers too..And my last tattoo i got done,Regino did some really nice script on me..He was a nice guy,and he had a really light hand..He works at www.inkstoptattoonyc.com and his personal site is,www.regnyc.com My next tattoo,i was thinking about Elio,from www.flyrite-tattoo.com in Williamsburg,Brooklyn.He's really good,and he's got a talented crew of guy's at the shop..

I would recommend going to Chris at Ron n Dave's. I'm friends w/ him and he does amazing work. I also just got my 4th tattoo, i go to Studio Enigma and only go to Matty. The guy is great!!! Ron n Dave's is always packed and Matty is a friend of my father so he's my man.. but i would say either one.
