stomach tattoos/weight gain/pregnancy

i am planning on getting a tattoo on my rib cage, and im thinking about extending it down the side of my stomach but im not sure. how messed up can a tattoo of flowers with detailed shading after weight gain or after pregnancy?

I say it's up to genetics how your tattoo turns out after pregnancy on your tummy or ribs. Some people snap back to their shape, others get stretch marks or loose hangy skin.
