Bump
I am kickin it up baby ...in the next little bit you are going to start seeing lots of my stuff on here ...OFTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now what?...Huh?...You talkin to ME?
Are You talkin to ME?.........
DAMMITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For this Fall/winter season I vow to...
Live every day as if I had just murdered a nun and could get caught at any moment ( that WAS a dream right?)
Try not to go through so damn many hamsters (they break easy!)
Replace TAzettes (email me) ( THEY break easy too!)
Annoy the CRAP out of Gabe and lull Kmama into a false sense of security before I totally offend her again!! Hee Hee!!
Get off the methadone and back onto Heroin!
Are you kidding me? I live in San Diego...it's summer all year (well, if you're used to cold weather being below zero anyways). I work 6 days a week and I still feel like I'm on vacation...though that might have something to do with the place I work at...Islands. If you've never heard of it it's basically like a ruby tuesday's with a hawaiin theme to it. "lively tropical atmosphere"...yeah, I had to remember that before I got the job, ha! Anyways, look forward to reading seeing all the new stuff...maybe I'll even post more art so I can get some good tips ;)
Jeremy I worked there in San Diego for a spell...I LOVED Mission Bay Park...do they still have the oldest operating wooden roller coaster in the world?...I loved the weather but I miss the seasons and I LOVE cold and snow!!!
You bet, at 5 dollars a pop, you can take a ride. I miss the cold/snow myself. But fortunately I can go home and spend some time with my rents for Christmas, and get some good skiing done.
The ONLY thing I truly miss about the midwest is the spectacular summer weather. This part of California see's about 1 bolt of lightning every 5 years............................it fucking sucks!! Then again, ya never have to worry about your summertime plans getting rained out.
Still, I swear I'm gonna go storm chasing one of these years.
TCE
It's been years since I've had an actual summer break. But I've always looked forward to fall and winter. Being in Key West sucks ass when you're a midwestern chick that is used to seeing the leaves change color and smelling the sweet and slightly woody smell of the leaf piles burning in backyards. *sigh* I really miss it.
*taking a cue from TAz*
My goals for this fall and winter:
Re-aquire my artistic motivation, concentration and ability. It took a vacation it seems, and I really would like it to come back. I miss it.
Contemplate my plans for world domination.
Stop being completely anti-social and start going out to do things more often.
Send TAz a coconut.
Pay more attention to the husband and less attention to the computer.
Sew a hoodie sweatshirt for my cat.
Stand up for myself more often and stop just accepting shitty customer service and mean people attitudes.
Find snow. Make a snowman and have a snowball fight.
Continue the countdown for my last year in the AF.
Scrap the initial plans for world domination and start over..
Reupholster my furniture.
Live each day as though it was my last, and make sure to tell the people that I hold dear how much they mean to me as often as I can.
Continue telling people they are going to die.
Try to come up with at least ONE good topic for the forum.
I guess that's a good enough start for now. We'll see how it goes, I guess. :o)
I have a bunch of goals, they are all unfortunately related to school or work in one way.
Except Battle-fucking-star Galatica.
October 6th! Ive been waiting all summer for this!! Seriously, I am a complete geek. Battlestar Galatica even beats out Star Trek in my mind. I know how awful that is to even say, but I must.
So, its sort of a goal, I mean, if I also say that I plan on becoming Starbuck. Which I completely do.
i would like a suggestion on what to dress my 13 month old up for halloween.
Why just throw some leftover spaghetti on the child and it can be an abortion just like you!
*BUMP*
Just take a read...don't know if it's because people seem to be missing or what, but the posts are looking a little dry!
Jeremy
Jeremy is right. Posts are looking a little slim. This thread has the potential to be pretty cool.
I'll lead the discussion:
What was everyone's favorite part of their summer? Did anyone go on any sweet ass vacations, or do something awesome? Read any fantastic books or see some great movies? Anyone come to any thought provoking realizations?
What made everyone's summer (or even just part of it) ROCK??
Well val, my summer has been pretty fucking huge. It started off with a bang with my ex leaving me. Cause of that I flew all the way from North Carolina to stay here with my bro in San Diego. In need of a hobbie I got back into my art, which I had put down for about a year. I ended up grabbing my first tattoo over here, along with some...interesting piercings. I did a lot of personal thinking, part of which led me to decide to persue a career in tattooing. Yeah...getting a lot of shit in my head still figured out...how about your summer?
"Why just throw some leftover spaghetti on the child and it can be an abortion just like you! "
