I have been a tattoo artist for 8 yaers now and have used some pretty good tattoo inks. I came across starbright tatoo ink and was pleased until I had three different people come back in will allergic reactions to the red starbright tattoo ink has anyone else had this problem?
was it scarlet red?
I have had a few problems with the starbrite reds. It seems that more people have problems with them than with any other color or brand of ink...I do love and use starbrites ...just not their reds!! Taz
yup infact red is one of the colors most people in general wii have a reaction to. wether mild or bad i use millenium myself and have been very pleased with the results from my clients but still i do have some that react ocassionaly.starbrite is good ink like some of there colors they have try there tribal black
Well from my experience I tried the deep magenta on two people and Both got reactions to the ink. The area swelled up on both tattoos even to this day. I thought the tattoos were hurt but everything was fine except for the magenta. I never really used starbrite after that, now I just use Stable from pulse and some millenium and eternal. Stable reds are REALLY good, and the white is excellent.
the starbrite reds in my tattoos all had reactions and healed slowly compared to the rest of my tattoo. i've heared they cause problems with many other people.
IF 1 COLOR FROM A COMPANY{STARBRITE} GETS A REACTION , THAT SHOULD PUT UP A RED FLAG FOR THE WHOLE COMPANY.NOT JUST RED!!!!!!!!! STABLE!! NATIONAL!! PERMAPRO PIGMENTS!!
