This will be a sought after position. Larry's last apprentice was quite the artist, and I presume hes only gotten better. He never posts anything, though, and he does have a membership! Larry, get him uploading!

Thanks TAz and Gabe for the nice comments. I wonder what happened to all the wannabe tattoo artists out there always complaining that they can't get an apprenticeship anywhere. Here is an offer from one of Chicagolands busiest and most respected shops to teach someone the art of tattooing and not a single response from any prospective candidates. Maybe it has something to do with the high quality art portfolio, the right attitude and the willingness to pay your dues that turns people off. I will be working on a new project. Tattoo artist in a bottle. It will be sold on eBay for the buy it now price of only $10,000 per six pack. If you drink two bottles a day for 11,462 consecutive days not including the third Tuesday of each odd numbered month but 4 bottles per day during lent and nine on the Fourth of July you may become a great tattoo artist. Maybe that would be an easier process than working on your drawing skills and scrubbing toilets. Any takers?

Phew, what a shame, thats a fantastic opportunity right there. Then again, we know theres ton of people who would rather complain about their station in life than put in the work to improve and push forward.

TAz, We got one whole applicant who lucky for us has some good art skills and seems to have the right attitude. He lives near the shop and has been stalking our web site for some time and emailed me about the apprenticeship opportunity when he saw it posted on my home page. I guess all the wannabe's haven't grown the balls yet to follow their dreams. Later Larry
