tattoo artist professionalism

Not a tattoo artist, or drooling on one, but common sense and what I've heard pros express is that as long as sex is not traded for tattooing the artist is still behaving as a professional and the client is not being a whore.
If there is an attraction between two people I think they should just enjoy the dynamics of that. I think when people start trading sex for valuables both are cheapened and lost respect is the price for all involved. But thats just my opinion. It's not like it's a phenomenon that hasn't come up in every other profession throughout history...Advise: By all means have sex with your artist and absolutely keep paying for your tattoos in cash (tips are a grey area however). ;-)
I think as with any job if employes mix with the bosses it can lead to negative things. However, one can not change feelings. As longs and the trading of sex for payment is not in the realationship and both parties can keep things civil to each thier own, but when it becomes a sex for payment it just brings the whole thing to a low level and with any job i would think the person who hold the "boss" title would have the smarts about them to end it and keep the respect of the business fresh. There is so much out there about tattoos no need to add a negative factor to it over some overactive hormones.
True enough, but the question at hand is artist/customer not boss/employee...
