I took the liberty of starting this thread to showcase the artwork done by posters here. And to back up the cred of the true artist. : ) I hope this is in accordince with forum rules.
Allow me to start:
This is the piece i did at the KustumKulture Convention Oct. of 06.
It won me "Tattoo of the Day".
The following day I was awarded "1st Place -Most Unusual"
for this one.

Cool stuff inkgoddess! Hopefully other people will respond to this post, I'd love to see everyones work! (P.S.-I'm not a tattoo artist).
very nice indeed.
Any more takers? Some forum folks whos tattoos we havnt seen yet or saw a while back? Inkgoddess, do you have a website?
the shop website is fucked up right now, so the ony sites i have for my work are my myspace, and inkednation. (inkgoddess on both)
what i need to do is drumm up some cash to get on this site. : )
-but you know how much this time of year sucks.
ill have to do it next year..
is this strictly for the licensed individuals?
Gabe?
I think that its a public forum and if you wanna post photos up, you will get our thoughts no matter where the tatoo was done. Lets see the tattoos!
ok

hope I did that right it's been awhile. Not the best tattoo but I enjoyed doing it and the wearer is happier than a puppy with two peters.
This is what I've done lately learning on my own , horrible I know, Even I can point out a million things wrong with it. But I welcome all advice and criticism and even the hackles and finger pointing, feel free to chastize me. I don't tattoo just anyone , hell pretty much no one, just a few really close friends who understand what i'm trying to do and what they feel I"m capable of doing.
Actually I think it's pretty cool looking Princess Jer...something a little different but you can tell exactly what it is. Nice!
Good job Jer!!
Hey bet ahold of me I need to talk to ya man!...T
Thank you both alot. Coming from people who judge tattoos with some experience in their pocket it means a whole helluva lot. I know i'm no professional and there's a million aspects of this world I can't even begin to fathom yet but thanks for not kicking sand in my face.
Hey Jer, I think it looks great, I have only been tattooing for about 6 months now after I finished my apprentiship, and that looks very good. I have been digging around on this site for the last two years and have only posted about 5 times. There are alot of people who post their stuff on here and they think they are doing real good, and alot of it looks pretty bad. I just wanted to compliment you because its nice to see someone who is humble, but definatly looking very promising to be in this trade.
There are always some things that us artists think that we could have done better on almost every piece. I just wanted to know what kind of ink you used, the pink looks really nice. Ive been havin some troubles with my Starbright pink, and have had alot of female customers who request alot of pink lately.

Thank You Lefty, I'm by no means a professional, by NO means, and my work shows that. But thank you for your compliments.
The pink was made with a combination of millenium's magenta and starbright's white. I'm in love with their white. And if you're an amateur like me you only waste about 4 caps before you get the right pigment. Something I'm sure a basic paint mixing course could help with. If you're after a real bold almost hotpink , I'd just warm up the already nice magenta they offer from millenium. Depending on skin tone of course. but that's how i've gotten my pinks for about hte last year is using their magenta. I'm sure you already know this but being licensed you h ave access to some great pigments that I can only dream about getting my hands on. And i'd love to see some of your work, if you're the type who likes to share. I'm not sure how extensive your art training has been but you may enjoy reading a bit about color theory, polychromatic and monochromatic blah blah blah , but just reading a few books did wonders for my color pieces just using pencil. It's super simple really and I don't even think most highschools teach it.
Hey Jer, Ill put up some of my work tonight, I have to convert them to JPGs. I had been using Starbright pink and it just hasn't been healing really bright. I have about 50 colors from millinium, so Ill try mixing them up like you did. And I do have access to alot of other colors but I choose to use starbright and moms, and intenze becuase Ive grown used to using them and like the way some of the colors from each heal. Thanks I always appreciate advice from someone who is willing to be helpful. Check this post later Ill put a few pics of mine of here.

Sorry if you guys think that this is just horrible work, but Ive only been at it officially for about 6 months. So hack away at me. Let me know what you guys think.

For 6 months at it , I think you're doing fine. In my opinion, and I'm not authority on tattoos, I think the flower's cool but a heavier outline would have made it outstanding. And maybe some background color or swirly design. But I don't know the client or what they wanted , all in all if your customers are happy and you're sterile no one can bitch. The chestplate and shoulder cap piece I think is gonna look really cool once it's finished that's alot of work you got yourself into there lol. I'd say on that one, don't be afraid to abuse your right to use color. But i'm a color fan.
Tattitude , I love the nun thing lol. sick
yep, the nun thing is pretty cool.
thanks much dez,and princess jer i totaly enjoyed doing it.it may be sacreligeous but ahhhh what the hell.
