if you are trying to create a documentry that is going to showcase real tattoos that push the art, I want to help out as much as possible. I really do care about the tattoo industry and would love to do my part to help you teach people about the possibilities. My only concern is that younger tattoo fans tend to not do the research/learning about the culture they should, and therefore tend to get "cheesy" tattoos that dont showcase the art. It tends to take a few tattoos (and years) to learn about what makes the best custom tattoos and have the patience to find the right artist and invest what it takes(time and money). If you are finding stories (or need help finding) about teens/ young twenties people who are are getting tattooed the right way, Id love to help. If you are looking for stories about tribal armbands, then we wouldnt be a good match.
If your willing to come to Ithaca, I've got plenty of work to show you. I've been tattooing locals and college kids ( Cornell, and Ithaca College) for the last six or seven years here.My work can be seen on this site. My name is James Spiers and you can reach me at Model Citizen Tattoo 607-277-2108 Thanx
Pleas not another cable TV show .... please no.
or, please do it right. I wish a production company would really create good documentries. I havnt seen the porkcop dvd's yet, or the Dvds we even sell here. Theres no time to watch tv! But, I wish that there will be a series of tattoo documentries that really showcase the art of tattooing as opposed to parents yelling at kids for getting em.
