Tattoo Emergency

My boyfriend got a tattoo on his neck tonight. The tattoo is a phrase he really likes and the tattooist misspelled one of the words. It should have been REALLY but he spelled it REALEY. By the way the lettering is done, if a portion of the E can be removed, it will still look like an L. Is there any way to get some of the ink out while the tattoo is still fresh??
