Hi Guys
I have a tattoo on my right upper arm that i need to redesign to do a cover up of it.
Any tips on how to get it from the arm to the paper so i can mess around with the design?
Something easier than:
take a pictue
print it
write it on stencil paper and adjust the size and then start working on it!
Just wanted to ask if there was some good tips for doing this!
Thx

Ahhh i just noticed i screwed up the title... Its surpose to say "from arm to paper"... I dont know if i mod can change the title :-)
You're going to get a better result printing out a picture and working around that. I guess the only other thing I might suggest is have someone put tracing paper over your arm, tracing the lines of the tattoo and working around that? A picture is gonna be the best way to go though.
the best way to cover and add to a design is to draw it right on the skin and maybe have a couple references around of what you want...but unless you are the tattooer you should talk to a respected artist who can do the work for you...they will likely change your design up a bit any way to ensure artistic quality for atattoo
